Mums and Bubs Babywearing Workout!

Kangatraining Brisbane East classes are held in Carindale, Manly and Capalaba!  Kangatraining is a full body workout specifically designed for postnatal mums which combines fun, exercise, babywearing and socialising to get the best workout while having your baby with you!

Kangatraining is much more than just a fitness class as baby’s are often happy being close to you (and sleepy) and you get to workout in an safe and effective way that is tailored for mum’s.  All the exercises can be modified for any common postnatal issues and it is suitable for all fitness levels.

The class combines core work, cardio dancing and strengthening exercises. You and your baby get to socialise, exercise without the need for a babysitter and enjoy all the health benefits of exercising.

It is your best workout TOGETHER!

You can start Kangatraining classes once you have been given the all clear from your health professional to start exercising and you are 6 weeks postpartum following a vaginal birth or 12 weeks following a c-section. You will complete a health questionnaire prior to your first class and if necessary the exercises in the class can be modified so you can still workout.

Babywearing experience (or a baby carrier) is not required!  I am a Certified Babywearing Consultant and can help you fit and use your suitable baby carrier or I have a large range of baby carriers to hire so you can find the perfect one for you and your baby.

Costs for Kanga Training classes:

– $10 for a trial class
– $20 for a casual class
– $80 for a 5 class pass ($16/class)
Direct Debit – $14 a week (1/class) or $21 a week (unlimited classes)

Baby Carrier Hire – Free for your first class, $2 per class


We ensure safe and optimal babywearing in all our classes and suitable carriers include soft structured carriers (eg Manduca, Kokadi, Tula, Ergo), Meh Dai’s and Woven Wraps. Unsuitable carriers include narrow based carriers, forward facing carriers, ring slings and stretchy wraps.
