Active Parks Kangatraining
Kangatraining Brisbane East will run free Kangatraining classes in Wakerley Park on Friday’s from 16th July ’21 until 17th September ’21.
This activity has been funded by Brisbane City Council as part of the Council’s Active and Healthy Program .
Kangatraining is a full body workout that combines core work, cardio dancing and strengthening exercises. Your baby is in a baby carrier for the majority of the class so you get to build strength as they grow and they are happy while being worn.
Class will be held on:
Wakerley Park, 74 Dianthus Street
You can join these Kangatraining classes once you have been given the all clear from your health professional to start exercising and you are 6 weeks postpartum following a vaginal birth or 12 weeks following a c-section.
A baby carrier is not essential as we have hire carriers available. For the comfort and safety of your baby during class we only use suitable baby carriers including soft structured baby carriers (by Tula, Ergobaby, Manduca, Kokadi, Lillebaby) and meh dai’s or half buckles. Unsuitable baby carriers include narrow based carriers, hip seat carriers and stretchy wraps. If you do have a baby carrier, I will assess it for suitability.
To book in, please complete the form below. I will email you a health questionnaire and relevant information about the class (please check your spam if you don’t receive anything) and you will also receive a text confirmation.
